Indigo Matter is an exhibition with design studio Dust London and textile artist Emi Fujisawa, taking place in the south arcade of Islington Square from the 14th until the 30th of March. Both studios have a strong research-led focus on sustainability - here linked through their common use of plant dyes (Madder and Indigo) applied to recycled toxic cardboard and upcycled vintage natural fabrics, to make new furniture, home décor pieces & slow fashion garments.

The display has been curated by otherprojections | NID, a collaborating duo present in the pop up showroom & concept store in the south arcade, Islington Square. The duo has a strong interest and belief in the role of art and design in pushing the development of sustainability throughout the design and production process.
